Welcome to Greater Kingston Softball...

Welcome to the 2012 softball season with the Greater Kingston Softball Association (G.K.S.A.). Our organization oversees  House League, Select and “Rep” teams, so whatever level of ball you are interested in playing, you are sure to find it here.  We are a member of the intercommunity Softball Association.  We are located in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

G.K.S.A.  has been serving the youth of Kingston and Area for many years.  We strive to ensure that participants receive proper guidance to play the game in a safe and friendly environment and it is our objective to promote sportsmanship, community spirit and good fellowship.  Many players continue to play from “T-Ball” all the way through to Jr. Ladies and Men, returning summer after summer to enjoy the game. We welcome players from ages 5 to 23 years. Our volunteers work year round to try to bring the best softball experience possible to our children and youth.

New volunteers are encouraged and always welcome and should contact any member of the executive for further information.

 2012 Registration 

Registration March 31 at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour 9 – 3pm

and

April 14 at Bayridge Public School Hudson Drive from 9- 1pm

We have the opportunity to host a pitching development program called CANpitch.  It is a 6 week course one hour per week. Instructor to student ratio is  6:1 ratio and cost is $90 per applicant.  Instruction is provided by an  Ontario regional pitching instructor with Softball Canada’s CANpitch program.  There is limited enrolment.  Please contact Mike Snelgrove at 613-634-1756 weekdays 8 – 5.  Spaces are rapidly filling up and late registrants may be wait listed.
